I think next years cover athlete should be Hi-Fidelity grass. Clearly grass is the wave of the future for the series.

The last time a football game blew me away with graphics was Madden 01 for PS2 (the first football game of the generation). The jump to PS2 from PS1 games was ridiculous. Now-a-days it just takes baby steps on improving the graphics each year.
