This and another comment or two I would like to concur with. I would say that Rambo First Blood actually had a reason, and it in part covered PTSD at an early time. The Vietnam war was the classic (I've heard the Korean conflict also) in not caring about the returning soldiers, but fearing them and wondering why so many went homeless.

That helicopter wing was totally clipping through the ground in that Rambo III part.
