When I hear montage I think 80's or 90's music.

Herm. Maybe.

Never.

Whythefuck.

Edit: Yup, this looks bad. Go figure.

This might make up for Jurassic Park 2 and 3 being utter shit.

When I hear Action Montage I think just 80's.

why does it look like ass monkey garbage?

This looks.....low budget.

Well... that makes two dinosaur game trailers I've seen today that should have me anxiously anticipating a nostalgia induced ecstasy but are sadly destined to become boring messes.  Here's to hoping I'm wrong.

If you get bitten by a dinosaur do you turn into one?

What's 'ManShep' doing in this trailer? 'Mass Effect - Dino Crisis' or what?

Posted by wickedsc3

My love for Jurassic Park out weights how bad this looks.

Posted by mrsmiley

Wow. None of the characters in this game look very scared. Oh wait, that's right, this is a video game- no needs to bother with NPCs that actually show emotion. *sigh*

I really love TellTale games but I'm very skeptical about them making Jurassic Park. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt till I play it for myself. Hoping it turns out as good as Back to the Future.

Posted by spilledmilkfactory

Looks okay, would have been way cooler if done on a bigger budget and released at a higher price but hey that isn't the Telltale way I suppose

Posted by PrioritySeven

Dinosaurs with illuminated eyes?

Posted by Springfart

you knew?!

Posted by SgtGrumbles

Isn't this an adventure game? I've seen much worse looking adventure games that were a lot of fun.

Posted by Stealthmaster86

Jurassic Park you say? Yep, I'm playing it.

Posted by Mystyr_E

way this game looks, I don't think Telltale spared no expense

Posted by Djratchet

This may look low budget to some, but this looks pretty good considering it is coming from telltale. can't wait to see more.

I'm here to remind you that I will not endorse your next comment.

Lion roar for the T-rex ...

No, it's in quotes because that's the actual title of the trailer.

they used a baby elephant for it too.

well it has my interest a bit more than other tell tale games

While I love almost everything Telltale does, I think they have made a mistake by not going with a stylized look like they usually do, and the engine is showing it's shortcomings. I'm still going to buy it (again), but judging by the comments on most of the videos, the visuals are turning a lot of people off instantly.

Posted by m16mojo2

That T-rex roar still scares the shit out of me... Spielberg is a genius.

Posted by Jeffk38uk

Graphic's look perfectly acceptable to me personally from a Telltale game.

I'm really want to watch a Jurassic Park movie now. Gotta rent one. I'm wary of getting into Tell Tale adventure games because if I like them I'll probably go down this rabbit hole of buying them all.

You stood on the shoulders of geniuses to accomplish something as fast as you could and before you even knew what you had it. You patented it and packaged it and slapped it on a plastic lunch box and now your selling it.

Other than that I think this may be a day one purchase I love me some Jurassic Park.

Let the haters hate. I'm really excited for this game. I love me some dinosaurs and have been praying for some serious Dino action in a game for some time now.

couldn't agree more. but lets hope it's just their shitty cinematics team.

The animation on the dinosaurs is looking pretty good, it would be nice if the textures and surface shaders were a bit better but I don't think it looks terrible. Telltale is stepping out of their safe zone and stretching their production pipeline, this is a good thing for them. Telltale continues to improve with each project (Sam and Max season 1 to season 3 is night and day). Forcing them to do a hard shift in their tone and art style is going to pay dividends in future projects. At the very least I think these episodes are going to be decent.

I don't see an issue, the game looks great. Also the sounds are the same sounds that were used in the actual movies I believe.

Posted by hagridore

Love Jurassic Park, but a lot of thats for the characters. Shame its a new cast.

Posted by vinsanityv22

This is easily Telltale's most exciting game to date. I'm SOOOOOOO glad they're finally ripping off Heavy Rain, because "pointing and clicking" is NOT adventure. It's not action. It's fucking boring. And all it's allowed for in all their previous games have been glorified fetch quests. Which was fine when they're doing their own franchises, but for stuff like Back to the Future, it's not cool. So I'm really happy to see some action injected into their stuff, and Jurassic Park should be much more successful than their BttF games.

Looking forward to this; little annoyed at the stiff voice acting though D:

I don't think people realize that what you're seeing is actually from the in-game footage. Looks absolutely fantastic to me, I just wish they didn't use that stock sound effect for the T-Rex in this, doesn't fit at all. They even used the same in the first AvP movie and... Turok.

Posted by benHaskett

This looks awesome! Surprised so many of you are down on it; I'm definitely buying!

Looks fantastic to me also. But I'll have to disagree with you on the T-Rex roar. That is an iconic sound from the original movie, and I think a good idea to keep using it in the game. As for using it in the first AvP movie and Turok, meh. :)

It is low budget, it's a $30 episodic digital release.

Does that make it a bad game? All of Telltale's work so far has been excellent and has really helped revive a dying genre.

If all you want is graphics, go back and play some shallow FPS tech demo.

Telltale did a great job with back to the future, so i am going to keep my eye on this. If this turns out to be good then i will definitely get it.
