Man, the new stuff looks great, especially the video page features (LOVE the pin idea). Great job Dave and Alexis; you guys are the only site designers/developers I know that consistently make huge improvements to every aspect of using a site. And considering how much time I spend on it, it's appreciated!

I certainly like what they've shown so far of the new design. Looks great.

Also, being able to continue watching videos while scrolling down to read comments is gonna be awesome!

Nice to see Jeff keeping it real with the AKG studio reference headphones. I prefer those myself too, for the nice flat sound. The Sennheisers are nice and all, but they color the sound too much for professional recording work, IMHO.

I'm pretty sure Alexis and Dave are two of the best designers on the whole Internet right now. I haven't come across a website with architecture as good as Giant Bomb's, or even a site built like Giant Bomb. They are a seriously talented and hugely creative duo, and should be paid accordingly.

@snide@alexisg Also, talking about the quest system, you guys should check out the achievement system that's used on Khanacademy.org.

It gives you points for watching video's and reaching goals and rewards you with achievement badges, which you can display on your profile. Check out my mad sun badges, yo.

It's really simple, but it has been surprisingly awesome to see the numbers pile up like that, and I love it everytime I get a new badge. You can even see the numbers count up while the video's are playing. Pretty neat.

If you hover over your profile name at the top of the page, at the bottom-right corner of the menu that opens you'll see two "A"'s. Clicking that will swap it over. I only discovered it a month back myself.

Just mouse over your user name at the top of the page. A drop box comes down with Account/Billing, Settings, Log Out, Images, Quests, etc. In the bottom right corner of that drop box is the toggle for the black or white site design. The two "A"s.

That responsive design looks crazy awesome!

Guys, I didn't fall off a ladder! Although maybe my laptop's mic did before it was shipped to me. First time I ever used the mic on this thing, so sorry about that. Dunno yet if it's a Win8 and/or driver issue yet, but might pick up a standalone mic if it's not fixed with the Windows 8 Release Preview.
