(or at least indicate somewhere on the link that it is subscriber only so I don't have to waste my time clicking on it)  It's annoying as heck to get really excited seeing "Daggerfall" on GiantBomb, only to realize I can't even watch it.

The game is available for free now. There is not anything dirty about this. As a paying member Im very happy they are doing this. TBH I paid due to wanting to support Whiskey Media but always felt I was not getting value for my money. Especially when 25% of the paid content was given away for free.

Im happy they are doing this. Besides a monthly membership is the cost of a value meal.

It's like $5 a month. I don't believe anyone can't afford it. Especially seeing as the site it's on is based around an expensive ass hobby. A couple of those bottles of coke in your profile picture would cover the cost.

And no, it's not a dirty move. People have been asking for this exact thing and also more subscription only content. So they covered 2 requests in one go.

Mac users looking to play Arena or Daggerfall (or any other old DOS games) should check out Boxer. It's a very nice GUI wrapper around DOSBox.

I'm pretty sure it's either this or a bumper or some other obnoxious reminder at the end of videos saying "hey, sign up for whiskey media membership". remember that they basically run the company off of our memberships, if they didn't advertise what non-paying members cant have, no one would ever sign up because they wouldn't know what they're missing.

I don't really understand why all the hate. People who don't want or can't buy a subscription still get most of the content on GB. What's so wrong with giving us paid members something "exclusive"? Especially something as inconsecuential and non-sequitur as a 2-hour Daggerfall video. I could understand people getting upset if it was a real QL for a recent game or something like that, but they've talked about this feature during the SNES marathon, to compensate for the loss of the weekly Happy Hours.

@AuthenticM: this isn't a QL of a current game. its a look at an old ass pc game. They will not make any CURRENT game coverage unavailable to non members, is how I understood it.

And yeah, there are people who can't afford $5 and there are others who don't even have credit cards. I will have to get one to pay for the yearly subscription because in my country, we don't like having credit cards. Banks have very high interest rates and there is too much violence so it's easy for you to get your cc robbed. #THIRDWORLDPROBLEMS.
