Seriously, I'm really excited for Crack In Time (I love the Ratchet series) but that was the worst usage of the 1812 Overture I've EVER seen :-(
 
It wasn't even the true version with cannons going off. COME ON!

Agreed, though I am surprised that they havn't used the 1812 Overture before for a R&C game trailer.

Yep. Not enough explosions, and they should've been timed with the percussion hits. For shame.

its funny... i LOVE R&C ..I bought a PS3 for R&C ToD 
and sony finally promoting this game makes me really, really happy... 
 
but I look at it and think "Yup, That's totally Ratchet & Clank" 
 
I'm really hoping theyve mixed it up a little more this time because Tools is probably my least favourite of all the insomniac  made games. It  just isn't as funny as previous games...and was stupid, stupid easy compared to UYA which gets very tough in later parts of the game.

@WrenchNinja: Yeah it was awesome the fist time you played it, then every game after the first is the same thing. Hey get these big weapons that all basically do the same thing in each game but have different skins (A chicken gun and a sheep gun). Then go grind rail on this stuff and dodge out of the way and then do these stupid puzzles and collect bolts. SERIOUSLY! EVERY GAME IS THE EXACT SAME THING!

@TheMustacheHero: Those are elements of the series and pretty popular ones. Each game innovates in small to occasionally big ways, and if you've been playing the games for as long as you say you have, you'd notice that. The only game that feels truly rehashed was Tools of Destruction but even then it was still a quality title and pretty damn fun. You could call any sequel in a long running franchise the "exact same game" but that doesn't make you right or make the game any less awesome. = )  
 
Would you call every Call of Duty game, Halo or Mario game the same?

As a big fan of the series I hope that whatever new additions they've made to the game actually change things up. After playing Tools of Destruction (and generally enjoying it) I feel that a desperate change of pace is in order. It's been pretty much the same exact game since its debut. I really liked the more shooter focused Deadlocked because it was different. I don't have any specific suggestions for change, but all I can say is that I want something more from the franchise.

I've enjoyed most Ratchet games and finished any i played, but with time, the humor of the series kinda died down for me and the ridiculous weaponry, turned into just overly destructive, blow up the screen, type of things. I remember getting the first RYNO and thinking how awesome it looked, how hard it hit, how funny it was, but also how it wasn't THAT over powered. 
 
now... i just hope they remember that the humor is a big part of what made the series such a hit.

Makes me want to go back and play Tools of Destruction again.   That's one BFG he's got there.  I know aht I'm getting with each R&C game and I like'm that way.
