Neato! PC only?

Their homepage says it's being developed for PC but who knows where it'll end up if it's successful.

I really like the look of this teaser.

I remember the teaser they released a long while ago with the super slick graphics. Nice to finally see some gameplay footage.

Are you an old enough dude to check out these desperate robots?

Very impressive trailer, had me hooked. Not really sure what was happening, but the clues and the time change showed what could hopefully be a very cool atmosphere. After playing Gone Home I'm maybe hoping too much that this is a "learn by exploration" game in a similar vein.

Rain + Melancholy music = Not a bad start

Edit: Anyone else getting a very specific Chrono Trigger reference out of this?

An open world puzzle game with sad robots that never grow old.

Also leaving clues and instructions for your future self in the hopes you can continue what your past selves could not.

Sounds super interesting!

I remember a couple of years ago when they showed the first teaser for this and thought it looked absolutely incredible, graphically. And was only made by a handful of people. Now that we've seen all sorts of next gen games and tech demos it doesn't impress me as much from that standpoint, but hopefully it can still be a cool game. 2 player co-op puzzle game?

edit: Theory Interactive, the company making this game, is composed of two people. Chew on that for a while.

Man, that ending got me thinking about the scene in A.I. Artificial Intelligence when David get stuck in the ocean and time just goes by.

And that is where the film should have ended. The stupid final scenes with the future alien humans was horrible sentimental Spielberg dreck. Sorry, your comment just reminded me of how badly that film finished. He just couldn't help himself.

WHOAH.

With graphics of that fidelity, how can this be on a crowdfunding campaign? It just won't be enough. Some dude in a big publisher should see this trailer and throw all their money at it. First Person Sad Robot Puzzle Game.

I have no idea why this video needed an age gate...but the game itself looks appropriately dreary and depressing. Nice visuals though!

There was a slowness to it and not many pre-set animations. After that mirror's edge video, I always think about how well First Person games would ACTUALLY work on the rift.

Certainly interested in sad robots, but I don't know what to take from the trailer. It seems kind of narratively muddy right now, at least to me, but hopefully in the context of the actual game it'll all fit into place. I see tons of potential, though.

It's highly probably these are not robots, since it says "Geo-Suit" and there is a defibrillation function in the Alpha Teaser. The mood in the game is still nice and solemn.

Somehow I feel like the game assets need some polish (apart from the suit). I know it is early, but some of the cars and materials looked better in the earlier teaser. And from what I remember they wrote the old teaser is in-engine, too.

Looks really interesting. Like the idea of seeing a world and in a moment decades have passed. The robot mechanic gives them the ability to do something unique. Hope this happens.

This broke my goddamn heart. Just how the robot was going about his business doing things it such a robotic way, and then he shows a human emotion when he wakes up centuries later... :( For all we know he could have been trying to prevent "Stage 3" of whatever was happening!

I remember that being the most intriguing debut trailer to come out in all of 2012. Watch_Dogs' debut stage demo was probably second place.

Anyway, Reset's premise/story is just intensely fascinating to me, though this 2nd trailer has maybe taught them the lesson that they need to make it clear in each trailer that it's not just a game where you play as WALL-E in a dead world, and that you are a guy that is (somehow) brought back to life in his robot suit decades or centuries after some cataclysm.
