Still not excited about this game.

Posted by wrecks

The game actually floats in front of you!? no TV needed?! SOLD!

Posted by Seedofpower

Man, Ubi and Enix need ta get on the ball and start getting these Steam and/or GFWL achievements in their games.

Posted by JoelTGM

I still hate RTS games.

Hey, my birthday is dec 22

And here I was hoping this would be about R.O.U.S.'s.

Edited by ThatFrood

how does it work?
and holy crap... that voice acting. That shit better be skippable.

Posted by pbhawks45

This reminds me of when I would make Powerpoint presentations that animated each letter. Then I would include a gunshot for each letter. Yeah, I was a jerk!

Posted by Sparky_Buzzsaw

This says absolutely nothing about the game other than it's an RTS set in World War 2.  That's pretty frustrating.

Not interesting.  I've got Company of Heroes to satisfy my WWII RTS needs.
Wait wait...I'm sorry.  I meant to say "my W.W.I.I. R.T.S. needs".

Posted by Cazamalos

i want the part where you grap the iPad and enlarge it into a full table and play it with Natal connected to the ipad , but the part that is a regular controlled RTS for console don't want that

Posted by MasterTom

this trailer made me wonder:
natal and rts... that COULD be a good combo.
but since this is a crossplatform game
i don't consider this at all interesting...
...looks way too previous-gen to me.

Posted by DeadFish

Well played, Jeff. ;)

Posted by themangalist

is this game using project natal? or else this whole "style" is misleading us consumers.

Posted by Ragdrazi

How silly must he have looked standing in frount of that green screen making all those stupid hand motions.
Posted by Jeff
@Ragdrazi: That's all I could think of the whole time I was watching this.
Posted by buzz_clik

So they made a game with a hovering translucent touch screen peripheral? Got it.

Posted by whatthegeek
@buzz_clik: That thing is WAY better than the iPad. If only it actually existed....
Posted by atomic_dumpling

What is it with those cheesecake virtual studio trailers lately? First that uppity Final Fantasy car salesman, now this guy. Also, uncanny valley.

Welp, I hope the peripheral to turn your livingroom into a blue holodeck with magical interfaces is under $200, because I've gotta pay for some STO lifetime accounts...

Edited by crusnchill

If I was ever going to get this I would NOT be getting it for a console. The idea offends me to the very core lol.
Maybe I'm old school, but I just don't like the idea that I can't press the no. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 etc buttons on my keyboard and get assigned groups of unit automatically do as I tell them.
@DrWhat: I prefer the table perifferal from R.U.S.E.'s first advert. I expect it'd cost in excess of $500 though. :-(
Lol. So I ain't getting that!

Edited by CornBREDX

I dont get it. Whats so special about the game? It didnt seem all that extraordinary. I like ubisoft, im not a big RTS player but I follow them cus I follow all things in games- even stuff I dont like. He didnt say anything that was really all that new. Maybe i just dont get it, but is that my fault?

But its another game set in WW2!11!11!!, why would you not be excited for it?
Posted by CharkeeFarlee

Wait what

Posted by Brontes_Muse

Id it coming out for the ipad?

Posted by Capt_Ventris

Dont think it will come out for the ipad. As they say in the movies "YOUVE GOT TO HAVE POWER"

Like some ultra-designed super European tai-chi.
Posted by Fripplebubby

This looks really iPad-ish to me. That, or it just sucks.

Posted by MrRojan

Oh, High Altitude Warfare X.  The X stands for x

Posted by PhilESkyline

So this will support Natal I guess.

Posted by gbrading

Ok... Evidently still no closer to actually revealing how RUSE is going to be played then.
Edited by Besetment

All I got from this was BUY MY GAME I HAVE A FRENCH ACCENT.
Also, Weatherbee? Where's Archie and Jughead?

Posted by DeBurgo

GET OUT OF HERE, R.U.S.E. !

Posted by Roughmar

I think  this video does everything it shouldn't where trying to appeal to an audience is concerned.

my friend is in the beta, and he is absolutely loving it. like, he really won't stop talking about how this game is "the thinking man's rts," but I guess we shall see what happens when this comes out. also beta, meaning PC beta.

Hahah brillant word play, sir.
I feel like elementary school again, having to come up with stupid words that match your name's letters.

ROFL!  Well done sir!  =)

  • Why the corny interaction with digital objects by the guy? And then he does the actions so slow, not even cool like in Minority Report where he throws shit around.
  • This "trailer" explained nothing.
  • Never even heard of this game before.
Posted by Capum15

The premise is interesting, though these trailers are pretty "Meh".
From the gameplay I've seen, it looks pretty neat. It'd probably destroy my laptop though.

Does this excite people?  Am I just a hater?  Yes I am.  But are people excited?

Edited by Jimbo

.... 9.

Posted by LOZZAT

well, the cg is good at any rate.... the rest.... god I hope it is, I can't afford a good pc at the moment, and need some sort of rts on ps3.

Posted by xaveri

So thy show us two guys talking in a forest and one of the developers in some "VIRTUAL" room moving a map. Great way to get me interested.
