Saints Row: The Third's Got CG Power

I couldn't really get into the last SR.  Thinking about giving this one a try, though.

It's certainly a great looking trailer.

That just about reflects how i remember playing saints row 2. Everything being balls out crazy and surviving the impossible every five minutes. 10X explosions, infinite ammo, infinite life, mass hole, and thunder storms. The only way i ever played that game.    

This actually looks really, really good.

Not bad, needs more hotdog costumes though.

That was a pretty fucking awesome trailer, too bad the game could never live up to your buddy taking a bullet for you and then popping back up to keep shooting dudes with you.

Hope Volition didn't mess this up like they did Red Faction Armageddon. Looks like a logical progression from SR2 so far. I WANT TO BELIEVE.

I really liked the second SR, its inverisimilitude made it fun.

I never got into Saints Row 2, and probably won't pick this up, but it looks as though it's turning out exactly as it needs to. That is to say, GTA's crazy kid brother.

I can pretty much guarantee you that this game will be more ridiculous than Saints Row 1.

Man this is a really good trailer.

That random stupidity of getting friends shot, the cartoony style and the sheer scale while still seeming cool perfectly gets Saints Row.

Saints Row 1? The row. Saints row 2? The City. Saints Row 3? THE WHOLE DAMN WORLD!

The trailer was great, i'ii probably be checking out this game because SR2 was just too much when playing with my sis, and whats with the music? It was some weird remix of 21st century schizoid man of king crimson with something completely different. no complaints though.

It's weird how Volition has taken the crude art style from the first game and almost evolved it into their own little paradigm.

I absolutely love this! I hope someone from Giant Bomb ends up getting into Saints Row 3 -- I feel like they really missed out on something special by ignoring the last one.

This is one of my most anticipated games of the year! Despite being a pre-rendered movie,  the trailer's still got me hyped. Loved the previous Saint's Row games and the co-op in SR2 was amazing (really glad to hear that's back for 3).
 
With Skyrim, Modern Warfare 3, Saints Row 3 and Gears 3 all releasing around the same time... the end of this year's going to get expensive.

I was expecting weird. This was not weird, just a bit crazy. Good, besides the awful facial animations.

A great new red Faction and surely a great new saints row, volition is one serious studio now, that traier was awesome i wonder what there next franchise will be.

Pretty cool, although nothing but cgi.

Finally, GTA 5. Really enjoyed the ridiculousness of the last game, let's see if they can top it (and possibly get rid of SOME of the jank, not all of it though)
