Is this a clone?????

Lots of ideas here. Could be cool. I will definitely keep an eye on it.

So they're basically doing a Kickstarter without the Kickstarter, right? I hope people have to come to realize that early support does not mean you will necessarily get the game you expect. Support this if you love the idea. Don't support this as a pre-order.

I bought this game after playing 5 minutes of the demo. It is seriously great -- combines all the things I loved about Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, and even Mega Man! Play the demo -- the save file transfers to the "full" game (beta).

I would recommend this to a lot of people!

Downloading the demo now. This has really piqued my interest.

So is there a single player story here? I can't really tell from this.

Sweet. Will certainly take a closer look

What secrets are the government of Grindea hiding from us!?

There IS a fantastic single player story, you will have about 5-10 hours of single player main storyline right now in the beta. about 30 mins worth in the demo.

The artwork is fantastic, the controls are exceptional, the skills are varied and well-implemented. I seriously have zero complaints with this game so far other than it isn't complete yet. But it is not like other early access games -- in this, the stuff that you can play is 100% complete (or it feels that way at least) and the new stuff will be added as skills, and continued story-line.

Plus arcade mode is even badass in its own merit!

I bought it yesterday after playing the demo. Not sure if I'll wait for the release version to play any more.

Gonna download the demo and give this a try. Based on the trailer and the comments, it seems pretty promising.

Well the comments mostly seem to be positive so I'll give it a try. I love indie games and I love 16 bit RPGs but I'm starting to feel a little bit of fatigue when it comes to these sort of games.

I've been salivating over this game for 2 years, stoked to see it's coming out soon!!

Whoa, they're making a game that looks like OLDER games from the 16-bit era?!?!? I haven't seen a new game like that in almost three days!!!

I keed, I keed. This looks awesome.

this looks wonderful

This does not look like a SNES game.

I love Secret of Mana and all, but I can't say I got what I wanted out of that video.

This doesn't look anything like the quality or style of SNES

I like the sprite work but the portrait art is a bit jarring.

Watch out - this game DOESN'T have local multiplayer at all. Seems a bit strange for a game channeling old school co-op like secret of mana wouldn't include a local multiplayer mode like those games had exclusively. I almost bought the game, then decided to try the demo and was glad that I did. I also e-mailed the developers and they said they had no plans of putting in a local multiplayer mode, so no couch co-op for this one. Very disappointing, but the game itself seemed like a lot of fun.

Wow. The thought of online multiplayer didn't even cross my mind when watching this. How could they not have couch co-op in a game like this?

Just checked out the demo. The combat is much more precise, nuanced and, well, modern than anything you'd typically find in an isometric hack'n slash action RPG during the SNES area....which is a Good Thing. Also, there are a lot of funny, knowingly random Swedish character names which will admittedly only make sense to fellow Scandinavians...
