So you can play the SF characters like SF but for the tekken folks looks like you have to play half Tekken half Killer Instinct seems complicated and my quarter circle forward brain can't take it.

This looks like a fair way to use the SFIV engine...not sure if the Tekken characters control significantly differently from the SF guys or not. TO THE CAPCOM WINS CLIP!

Storywise I can see Nina Vs Viper a good clash.


Not really seeing the Kazuya vs Ryu thing they're going for tho. Kazuya vs Bison seems a better match.

funny enough id say that capcom wins either way since the gameplay looks 100% like sf4, meaning namco had to abandon the shitty nonsense that was the gameplay in tekken 6

The sound design if you can hear it behind the music score sounds really bad.
Especially during the whole Marduk/King beating up Guile part.
Hopefully they're covering it up with noisy tunes until done!

I actually really like that idea, but that would work much better in the Namco engine than the Capcom SF engine. Would be neat to see though.

In this day an age I do cringe when I see an invisible wall in games. Saw a few instances there of that.
Made point in other post, little less time on FMV and more time on those finer aspects and Japanese developers would not be as far behind as they are with the rest of the world at the moment.

Yeah, that would be awesome. Some people had said that Namco is creating their own version of the game Tekken x SF, but I'm guessing that was just a rumor. I think I'd like that one better.

This might just be all in-progress stuff. If you go back and look at the early gameplay vids of SFIV, it sort of looks like this.

Hot darn you're right! They put absolutely no work into this because they reused the Street Fighter models! There's no way that half the roster being made up of completely new characters to the SF engine was hard work! You, sir, saw through their clever ruse!
