Looks like the most promising out of all the games shown so far. Plus, people love sackboy.

Posted by gunslingerNZ

I agree that actually looks ok, plus I like the idea of having one player control the character while the other shapes the environment. More games should be doing that in co-op.

Posted by metalsnakezero

Interesting. Co-op where one person is controlling Sackboy and the other person is using the remote to move objects.

Hmmmm....If the update free and I get a Move I'll be sure to get this.

Looks completely tacked on. Move won't make me go back to LittleBigPlanet.

Posted by PandaShake

There's a separate analog controller/dpad so maybe one person can do this.

Yawn.  Not sure why so many folks are crazy over LBP.  It's boring as hell.  This doesn't do much to change that.

Looks Mario Galaxyesque...(man that is an odd word), except more helpful than the dude that would help you get star bits.

sony and microsoft are copying nintendo, microsoft with natal and sony with playstation move, they realized it was a good idea so they copied it, they also copied miis with xbox avatars and playstation home

Woah you laid down some truth bombs there for sure!

If you don't like LBP of course you're not going to like it with motion control.

not into platformers

@gunslingerNZ:  no no i love LBP im a fan of nintendo sony and microsoft, though i do seem to lean towards nintendo more, i was just saying that sony and microsoft are indeed copying nintendo

Stuff you couldn't possibly do with a regular controller.

Posted by gunslingerNZ
@gogobomb: Yeah I was talking to the others on that second point.

Man...I think the technology is still really cool, but does my friend really wanna sit there and toggle switches or whatever. Even better, do I wanna wait for him to do so? It just seems really gimmicky at this point. Waiting for more details..

How is the motion controller making the game better?

Posted by Pavlo

fuck all of you. littlebigplanet is the greatest game ever made!!!

Posted by foggel

It's funner because you can move objects with your controller now.

yeah its fucking awesome!! i play it once every few days just to check out new stuff.

Wow, that looks like complete garbage. Sure, LBP is fun, but that looked clumsy and not very fun.

Plain and simple it's not, its just a gimmick to put their shiny new controller to use in one of their most popular games.

That's what it looks like to me. If that's the case, then that's kind of cool.

So Move is basically a mouse then.....
Posted by Eidderf

I suppose if the right level was created this could be useful, at the end of the day it's just a little extra so it's nice they are using the move control in a way even it it's not particularly interesting.

Posted by JeanLuc

Instead of making motion controller levels, why not let you use the controller in the create a level feature. If its as precise as they say it is, then it would make creating custom levels a whole lot easier.

Posted by Zereta

LBP was fun. This doesn't quite make sense to me but hey, surprise me, Sony.

Posted by Snail

I hope you get to you move™ on level editing.

@foggel: ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh okay i get it now
Posted by squidracerX

Good idea, better than 2 player is Mario Galaxy!!!

Posted by JJOR64

The only Move support game that actually interests me is a game back from 2008.

Posted by dbz1995

I'm sorry, but that's exactly how it should be. The use of the LBP motion seems to compliment the game, rather than being everything that game has to offer. That level is not that good, rather to showcase simple things that can be done. Yet watch how that one guy makes the level that makes the motion controls the best thing thats ever happened on LBP.

exactly. It completely breaks any flo of the game, it looks like, because sack boy just has to staaand there.
Posted by Brunchies

This really reminds me of the second player option in Super Mario Galaxy, it seems more like a gimmick then anything else.

The tech is good but the uses they have are pretty poor right now. This really doesn't fit in LBP and they should do something worthwhile from the ground up instead of shoe-horning it in, that's what Wii ran into for years and still does.

Posted by ImHungry

is it just me or does this not make any sense at all? I always assumed one of the big strengths of LBP was its physics engine and using those physics to get around puzzles. Being able to move things with an all-powerful controller seems pretty counter intuitive

Posted by Willy105

It's a good tech demo to show how similar it is to the Wiimote, but LBP is not the game that comes to mind on being able to be made better by motion control. How about some shooters?

Edited by MeatSim

You could move faster with a controller.

Posted by fox01313

Looks alot better than the other games using the magic notavibrator controller, however after getting constantly stuck on getting past some areas in LBP having even less control while flailing about makes it even less likely to get through.
