I understand that  these games are all unfinished but the visual style is pretty much universal terrible. A lot of Wii games with similar simple gameplay mechanics get points due to their charming style. The Miis in Wii Sports might look rudimentary but I'll take  homemade versions of Mr Spock and Hitler fighting with pugil sticks over the incredi-generic style on display here. I guess Sony learned nothing from its own success with Little Big Planet.

" This is bothersome, even though the Move is easily the superior tech to the WiiMote they are launching it wiht the same slate of shovelware that plagues the Wii. This is not how you make a case with trying to do something new, this is how you pander to a demographic. "
This is just what Sony is putting out to convince people it works. It's not an improvement, but it's no worse then the stuff MS has showed off, or Wii has put out. And they have games that apparently work well, like SOCOM. In fact that was one of the kinds of games that DIDN'T really work on the Wii. Because of the lack of  accuracy and stability. @simian said:

" When did sword fighting become a sport exactly? "

Fencing says hello?   Granted what was shown in the video was far from fencing but... go Playstation Move! Yeah... (no). "
I don't think even fencers would deem it sword fighting. Of course if they wore armor and carried shields it would be a lot more metal. "
Dude, they have log running on ESPN 2 or whatever. If it is competitive, it's a sport (yes, that means competitive games are technically sport), so sword fighting is a sport.

All this videos have taught me the importance of some kind of background music in video games.

You know, there's an uncanny valley when it comes to one-to-one motion controls.  If I'm swinging my "sword" and I hit the other guy's "shield", my sword ought to stop or bounce off.  Either strap your arm is some sort motion-blocking device, or make it not exactly one-to-one!

It's so obvious that Sony is trying to make money off the Wii Sports Resort idea! Sony, is it really that hard to come up with your own ideas? This game looks really bad too.
