The people who made Bastion can do no wrong. This looks great.

Great artstyle, great music, and it looks like it's using Bastion's engine. Very much yes. Bastion is one of my all-time favorite games right up there with Planescape:Torment, Kirby Super Star and Fallout 1 & 2.

Yeah, the enemy design is like ripped right out of Bastion.

People who say it looks too similar to Bastion, I'm side-eyeing you so fucking hard now. Did you play Bastion, why wouldn't you want the people who made it to keep making things in that vein? Where else can you get a game like that these days -- I'm glad they didn't decide to make a radically different game.

Bastion was my GOTY 2011, so anything coming from Supergiant is as good as bought. This doesn't catch me all that much on it's own though... need to see more.

While I usually don't care for isometric games, I'll give this a go for their track record and stellar sense of style.

This looks pretty, and has a nice song. I like the sword with the electrical contacts on it. It's neat.

But... Bastion, aside from it's (absolutely fantastic and stunning) visuals, humor, and music, was really basic. I don't fully comprehend what is happening in the trailer during the gameplay bits, but it looks like they employed a bit more strategy in the combat here. I hope that's true. If it's another hack-and-slash game, I'm probably going to skip it. Incredible aesthetics can only get you so far.

Though watching it again, that song is really fucking good. Also, some scenes... man, I would hang every goddamn bit of this trailer as a poster on my wall.

Yeah you do. Its on sale through the humble bundle this week. That's how I played Bastion.

Looks like they haven't changed much from Bastion, which is a bit disappointing. Also, terrible song choice.

I... don't get why everybody's nergasming over this. It looks like Bastion, yeah, which turned out to be pretty cool, but that's it. It's not like we were presented Half-Life 3 or something of that caliber. Anyways, I guess the excitement comes from Greg Kasavin being the lead force behind this title.

To nitpick for a moment: I'm not into that running animation at all.

Looks great. Bastion didn't get it's hooks in me like it did for most people, gonna have to revisit it and try to get into it again I think.

Looks like the combat will be Bastion-like. That's fine, though. I could use some more of that.

Bastion doesn't need a sequel. And we don't need another Bastion-ish game, which this looks like.
