Maan, tbh this looks like a piss take.
It looks good, but the controller looks ancient!
Yeah sure its supposed to look authentic like the original or what ever, but we've moved on!
I'm still assuaged by Dj hero currently.
It'l be interesting to see what this does to compete - gh and rock band, could this be the new "battle"?

" @Juvarial: word. see my last post. if technics made it then it would be end of discussion as far as quality is concerned. "

As far as your last post goes, that might be a good thing, since they have a ton of experience making toy scratching equipment.

" As far as actual scratching goes, this looks a lot better and a lot closer to reality. Also a lot closer to something I might enjoy. This is probably better for scratching, Dj Hero is probably better for mixing tracks. Now, I have no idea how this game works, but I would want a scratching game to be more like a "Tony Hawk" type of game, where you get points for doing a variety of scratches during a song, maybe some multiplier for actually keeping in beat with the cuts, maybe extra for speed, and also have some specific scratches for specific places in the song. For now though, I think I'm just going to stick to my actual turntables. "
From the gameplay vids we've seen so far, it's not a scratching game at all. Think Beatmania.

Seriously. What?
