I like it.  Cost and time cutting, but their dedication to the well fleshed out art direction works.  They seem to pull it off.  Will be a while till we know for sure, but this video is sure up to par.   
 
Now make me interested in the gameplay.  The first game, which I own, was rather boring.  Mostly due to button mashing combat.  Would like to see them amp up the close quarters combat moves list.  Something more than punch, punch, kick, ZAP!   More of a 3rd person street brawler, plus all those kick ass talents.  Would really sell me.  Let me beat the fuck out of some dude, then crash him into a park bench. 
 
As is, this is just more of the first and I'm not buying into that. 

awesome! could there be two sets of comic book cutscenes? one for good, the other evil?  this particular scene seems to portray Cole as selfish/evil.

This is good and hopefully with the reversal of design cole will be better

Coles new voice sounds fine, alot of people were overreacting for nothing. 

Why couldn't Dead Space: Ignition look like this?

I'm glad they're stepping back from the Drakeificaiton they showed at E3.

From Sucker Punch's pre-comic con video, they were saying how they slightly changed the art style of the cutscenes from a whole lot of ink blotches, which represented a dingy, dirty, dank, urban city, to trying to employ a little more water colors to represent the coastal new area.

That actually looks really cool. New voice sounds fine, and I'm even more excited to play it.

Cole's got a new look again? I thought he had dark hair in the gameplay trailers.  Now it's blonde again?

I would never be 100% satisfied with a new voice actor because I really liked the first one. But I can definitely live with this one. In fact, if this one was the one I heard first, I can imagine I'd prefer this one over inFAMOUS1's voice actor of Cole.

Looks better then the Dead Space motion comic thing.

Sucker Punch knows its 2D cutscenes. The style of narration is almost exactly the same as in the Sly games.
