Holy cow 3 hours of Dota?

Spoilers: Never trust anyone named "Matt".

As a headphones user, I could do without the blood curdling shouts that distorts the audio and nearly ruptures my eardrums.

Is 999 eSports???

Posted by Robopengy

These DOTA vids seem to have less and less comments :(

@crispy:

Grats on the 1000th win.

Posted by hawkinson76

Fuck you guys I was about to go to sleep and have relations with my wife.

Posted by Maginnovision

@robopengy: Not much to say I think... It's dota.

I blame the lack of Kessler. Also, it's a weekend video, and I'm guessing some people don't even bother checking the site on weekends.

Though yeah, viewership of the live or archived version of Daily Dota seems to be gradually decreasing. But hey, Brad likes playing Dota 2 and likes doing this video feature, and how can you say no to that puppy dog face?

Courier mindgames.

Jesus, 3 and a half hours?

Brad was really craving some more DOTA.

Posted by Box3ru13

Reflesky is easily my new favorite daily dota-er. His accent makes everything hilarious.

Posted by solidx

sooo much lag, makes it unwatchable, just let Crispy stream it, then we lean something and he has good enough map awareness so we will get to see other kills

Posted by Shaunage

3 and a half hours. I love it.

Am I the only one annoyed by Crispys screaming? It pierces my ears. :(

I can only assume that Crispy encountered the enemy courier for that to have happened. It's like Christmas for him whenever they cross paths. A veritable festive courier shaped piñata filled with gold.

Oof, some of that camera work.

Edited by Nightcrawlah

Ugh, so much try-harding from the other teams. Reflesky is hilarious though, more of him please. :)

Hey Brad... Second guess yourself less and attack more! Pro tip!

Lovely matches and great idea having a coaching camera. Well done to Crispy on his 1000 wins.

Edited by Hassun

Well I didn't see this coming.

Good to see the new streaming setup though, having someone else take care of it might be a good idea. If anything it could make @brad worry less about how the viewers perceive him or the feature. Good first attempt @mrpibb.

How often does Teambrad have the advantage in towers destroyed for a whole match? It seems very rare.

Love the daily dota!

Did Kessler quit Dota or what?

Two screams early on, just turned it off. I enjoy some dota, but it's blowing out my eardrums, man :/

Edited by johnsolo

I had to turn it off, I can't handle the insane screaming noises.

Posted by BisonHero

Man, you guys complaining about Crispy screams: A) have you never seen this feature before because how else would you not expect Crispy screams, and B) how fucking loud do you keep your headphones that it actually hurts your ears? The mix is fine on the stream, it's not like you have to turn it up really loud to hear their chatter over the gameplay or something.

lol at 2:56:15, though, where enemy Invoker sends out an obvious Forged Spirit bait, and Brad just runs up and starts hitting it, and the Invoker easily hits Brad with a Sun Strike. Brad is so lucky that didn't kill him.

Great video!

This was really fun to watch live, a bit late for me, but I can't complain.

Here's a free tip for you GiantBomb.

Instead of playing 5-man DotA, why not get a pro player involved, that would coach Brad in a series called "Coaching Brad" and cover everything from basics to advanced play. This way you get new players involved, maybe even the GB community who doesn't care that much about DotA, and everyone wins, even the general DotA community.

Because there's not a lot of DotA coaching videos out there, aside from pro streamers, who rarely talk or explain what they're doing.

Just a thought. :)

Posted by Centurypunk

@tr0n: brad has pretty good strategy, he just is terrible mechanical wise.

that's why we love him

Posted by Ronald

You know why they won that second game? Because Bounty Hunter was on the enemy team and Bounty Hunter always loses. ALWAYS.

Also, having a coach for the camera is a great idea. It means someone can watch the action without screwing up their own lane or when they are needed to jump into the team fight.

Posted by Tr0n

@centurypunk: He has neither, because he is always carried by the team. That's why some proper coaching is in order.

Posted by FMinus

Nice feature to keep going, replace Brad with someone who knows how to play tho. Brad participates in about 5% of the team fights, rest he's either on the complete opposite of the site, or he comes in late, and dies like someone who holds a computer mouse for the first time in their life.

Those games are like 5v4+Brad, uninteresting, painful to watch. After so many hours in Dota, I just don't understand how someone can play like they just picked up the game 5 minutes ago. Painful.

Posted by SharkMan

i love crispy's screaming, and no i never watch any of these vids with headphones.

Edited by iamthejuggler

@fminus: Yeah, at some point being able to say a game is difficult to learn just becomes an excuse not to get any better. It's an excuse i also use, but brad has waaay more time under his belt than i do.

Edited by nofzac

the funny thing is - it doesnt seem like Crispy coaches Brad on his mistakes (or maybe Brad has told everyone on the stream that he doesnt react well to coaching or criticism). I've played with a couple people who claimed to be friends with Crispy - and they had no problem criticizing every f'ing choice i made even tho i was the hard carry and we easily won the game (and they were both supports, who werent buying wards)....but i digress. Coach Brad! He could be good because hes super cautious, just needs help on when to go in.

Edited by GenesisZ

gg 1000 wins!

courier bug? wtf was that LOL!

ps. Brad start smoking pot and you will play better...

Edited by Efesell

Oh no Brad isn't as great at this game as he should be I must make this known!

Posted by JustinTHOM

I always love me some dota !

Edited by AMyggen

@fminus: Love the use of "painful" when you're watching a fucking DOTA video. Come on now, have some perspective dude.

Edited by aquacadet

Brad, I love you but we need to have a talk. It's time to give up on bounty hunter on the daily dota.

I second this idea. I'd love to see a game or two where Crispy or Matt is watching as the coach and telling Brad exactly what to do.
