Urgh what a terrible trailer.And WTF is a core gamer?

Is the demo up now? Will download it and give it a go. At least it gives me an excuse to plug in my Kinect.

The thumbnail and the comments has told me everything about this video without even watching it.

I just noticed that at 00:45, the actor says the game is tons of fun while shaking his head. I don't even know if that was a Freudian slip or if he was legitimately trying to warn us...

Of course looks and appearances should have nothing to do with the video's absolute lack of merit and message, but that guy and especially the thumbnail just make me think of A Confederacy of Dunces.

i tried the demo...not good..wanted to like it as a fable fan, but it was no good

jesus fucking christ this is disgusting.

My prediction, it won't work. It'll be laggy and wonky as all crap. The controls won't be as responsive, the game itself will not have the freedom of movement that you would find in say OTHER Fable games or Skyrim. It won't recognize your movements accurately.

The lighting conditions in your home or apartment won't be adequate no matter what you do, nor will you have as much space to move around as these people do here on a show room floor. Why do I say all this?

Cause that's been the case time and time again with these Kinect games that promise to play just as well as any game that uses a controller.

Kinect is a piece of unfinished hardware that has limitations that make it inadequate to do what ANY of these game companies promise. The actual game itself may be well programmed, but if the hardware dosen't work, it just dosen't work. End of story.

Downloaded, played, and enjoyed the demo. I was incredibly surprised. I wrote it off for being another nail in the coffin that houses kinect but I really liked the demo. As crazy as it may be I'm probably gonna buy it.

(Playing the demo also got me playing all sorts of Fable games again. So that was an added bonus.)

Fable went down hill real fast.

Poor Fable, it was a good franchise.

I couldn't make it past the thumbnail.

I'm a casual player who loves the Kinect. The intense music and people taking about how "hardcore" just scared me off. Way to go.

That's harsh...Fable II was pretty damn good.

The hardware does not work. It is crap. Sony & Microsoft have followed the trail of Wii money, made from little kids and people who dont traditionally play games, developers are coerced to use said non-functional systems and no-one is fooled in the slightest.

Then next gen needs put out processing power house with fast load times, super hot graphics and forget the novelty bullshit.

I await the Kinect MMO with great anticipation.

It's a shame. I was actually somewhat interested in Fable The Journey, but this video leads me to believe that it will be pandering garbage.

Sometimes I feel like journalists create these labels like "core gamer" just so they can make fun of marketers when they start using them.

On topic: This is an absolutely horrendous piece of marketing and does no favours to Kinect or Fable The Journey.

These gamers are too hardcore for me. I am not worthy. :(

I love how you can level up, choose different abilities. It's tons of fun.

Must buy Fable now, not any rpg, but Fable specifically... to level up and choose different abilities.

Want to revitalize a series that's slowly been worse as time goes by? Make a Kinect sequel.

I just bought Fable II and even though the guys liked that game this video is making me want to burn the disc and pretend I never contributed money to this franchise.

Try less Fable... just try less.
