Brotherhood is fun, although suffers from an inexcusably lengthy period of holding back tools from the player at the beginning ostensibly for tutorial purposes. I'd say skip Brotherhood and go to Revelations since that is the most current game and it recaps previous events. All the AC games are fairly good on their own - played back to back is where they start to lose their shine. Desmonds Journey basically retells all the facts we already know with a bit of useless fluff here and there but I enjoyed them as actual gameplay although I know I'm the minority in liking them.
