Yeah, pretty much. And all that highly edited stuff is well worth watching again and again and I do. To be clear, the humour didn't really hit for me on much of this but I love seeing this kind of glossy, highly polished content and still appreciate it.

I have not been watching these. I have been fuckin up. This is magic.

@TimFReilly: Yeah, they have a foundation with which to build up jokes even further. I like the pure style of Quick Looks, but these have a charm all their own. A bit like playing games they used to play(such as, Load Our Last Save) and ones they are nostalgic about(such as, Game Room or Retro Gaming videos). Independent of the animation, I really think they could try to do some more videos like this just focused on their directed commentary on some games. It would give a nice contrast to the more common, off-the-cuff Quick Looks.

Fuck I miss Rich.

@TruthTellah: I like how they bring some prior knowledge into these rather than the "pure" quick look style.

This was great. I would love more of this. The animation part of it isn't necessary; just the Jeff and Ryan playing old games and making fun of them to some extent. Quick Looks are almost serious looks at a game, but these are clearly a good bit farcical in nature. If we had some videos like this(as some Quick Looks have become and the Game Room videos were) coming out, that would be fantastic. :)

This is amazing and needs to be made into a Saturday morning cartoon series!

I think today's Jeff reaction to Dana Plato would be "ehhhh... ahhhhh.... I dunno." It was weird hearing Jeff give a lusty reaction. If he ever does it today it's completely sarcastic, and usually directed at uncomfortably underage Japanese games.

What...why...a penguin? That was among the strangest things I've seen all day.

I find Coello's art style oddly charming. I especially like the small details like Rich's "ghost punched" eyebrow. Your voice acting was great as usual and your cartoon counter parts sound way more enthusiastic about playing classic games than you guys do in recent years. It would be pretty easy to track down Frank Welker and pay him to dub the "evil Nuke executive" as Doctor Claw.

I only really liked the parts where they were playing and explaining the game. I could have done without the animation or the thin back story of Time Trotting.

Hmm, probably gonna need to find a new favorite thing ever. These two episodes are pretty much all that exist. I think Jeff says he might have some unfinished audio recordings, but the series ended when Jeff was fired from GS back in 2007. Jeff and Ryan have also said it's pretty unlikely they'll go back to this format, since Quicklooks are basically the same idea.
