It's amazing how more than 10 years later, both voice-controlled games devolve into shouts of "What are you doing?!?"

was not surprised by vinnys reaction he was slowly cracking towards the end . so funny one of the best. i imagined him running out and screaming at the top of his voice during the dead air section .

I really don't get how you can make the objectives that specific, if you know that a) the voice recognition barely works and b) Jimmy's A.I. is terrible. That's just bad programming.

Anyways, it was fun to see Vinny crack. I think that's the first time I saw him rage quit.

The moment Vinny thinks Jimmy is going to put the pepper grinder next to the coffee maker, but trolls him instead by putting it on top of the coffee maker is just priceless!!!!!

Giantbomb is getting back to it's glory days with the new hires and Vinny having his own stage. So much entertaining content in the last week or so. Hopefully Vinny and Alex eventually get a better office space and perhaps another hire or two to help out, then Gbeast will be fully evolved.

I watched this live last night and I was glad I stayed up until 3AM here in Tokyo. Vinny trying to read instructions to the robot and it not understanding reminded me of one class I have to teach English where they are doing a textbook too high a level for them so they have no idea what I'm saying. I'm disappointed there was no purse anywhere, so Vinny couldn't instruct the robot to pick up the purse over and over. Either way, I got some serious "BIG BOOOOOO" voice recognition vibes with this. Pepper grinder is now the new purse.

My guts hurt. That was the most hilarious thing ive seen in ages. Well Done!

I wondered about that too. As funny as it is to see Vinny be Vinny all over this game, I'm super curious if a saved proper speech test at the beginning would help with any of the tasks with Jimmy. I suppose I'd be super skeptical it would change anything too much, considering where voice recognition tech is these days.

Dr. Sbaitso is somehow superior to the future robot Jimmy.

Maybe, maybe not? A boom mic probably isn't an ideal input device. I'd love to see Vinny lose his shit again perform further tests with a proper headset just so we can laugh at him until we cry see if it has any beneficial effect. For science, of course.
