How much longer until we're playing as explosions in video games?

@spitznock:

No, I mean the actual explosions. You don't make the explosion; you are the explosion.

I really hope there is coop terrorist hunt in this game!

SO excited that Rainbow is coming back. It's just been too long.

That is actually a cool idea for a video game. It could be like Flower or something where instead of a leaf you are a piece of shrapnel. You would need to ride the concussion waves and hit as many people as you can.

Aw, was really looking forward to new maps and scenarios but this is the E3 stuff. Bummer.

I feel like I'm Ben Kingston in Sex Monster, just going "Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!".

Very much on board

Funny how EA has been doing destructible Environments for 5 games now, yet Ubisoft outdoes them on their first one.

Have they shown anything besides that house?

Showing quotes from journalists who have appeared to review a game that isn't even playable yet?

I don't know which is worse, the probability of those quotes being taken out of context or such grand words thrown around for a game that, like I said, isn't playable.

Electronic Entertainment Expo, otherwise known as E3, a games show where supposed behind-the-door gameplay previews take place and publications are paid off to state how gad damn beautiful they are.

This game looks so fucking dumb....and pretty.

Edited by ThatOneDudeNick

I hope this plays like it looks like it should play. This was one of the coolest looking games at E3 for me. Seems a little wreckless to set off 5 explosions inside of a house and to blindly shoot through walls with a shotgun to rescue a hostage. :)

Also, @darson. It was totally playable at E3. And the whole "publications being paid off" thing is a silly conspiracy theory made up by people that get sad when a game they don't like is enjoyed by others,

Yo dawg, you like explosions?

Is it really standard SWAT protocol to hold out civilians in front of you like a human shield? That looked kind of weird in the E3 video too.

Posted by 93The_Ace

I don't think this game is going to be released.

Posted by Rabbykayn

The beginning of this video made me want to load up Far Cry 3. I had no idea why until reloading it and realizing it was the Ubisoft logo chime. Holy shit. Psychology is fucked.

Standard SWAT protocol would be to form a ring around the hostage. From a videogame stand point though, the ring would have to coordinated between players...which unless you are with friends, probably wont happen, but might if you are. Its a videogame.

That actually looked a lot better than I thought it would. Color me somewhat interested.

Why hasn't anybody made this game? Why haven't I made this game?

Throwing C4 into the air and then shooting it to make it explode is totally something SWAT teams down.
