most of this isn't multiplayer destruction though, just canned single player events. Just sayin'.

Actually 2 buildings are singleplayer for sure, the rest could be multi... But that tower, the red tower, multi for sure! I can't wait!

Might lend this game from a friend to plow through the singleplayer. Looks like a fun ride.

I dunno, it didn't seem like the beta had as many destructible buildings as BC2 did. Maybe it was just Metro.

@allworkandlowpay: The majority of those scenes were from multiplayer. In fact most of em were from he two beta maps they tested. The few single player moments were unscripted in engine events that occur during gameplay with the exception of the part where the city street seems to crack and where the building on the horizon falls.

operation metro was underwhelming. caspian border was a lot better. still, BFBC2 beta was a lot better than BF3 beta :( i really hope that final product will be better.

there should be server queue, more destruction and i really hope that hit detection will be better.

I have a suspicion that the people complaining there isn't enough of it, are people who only know Battlefield through Bad Company, which would then make sense because nothing would satisfy them after that. I for one love the destruction in this (from what i saw in the beta) it's much more detailed, and it suited that map, which was so radically different than any BC map.

I started playing Battlefield games at 1942, and the only ones I didn't play were Vietnam and the first one on consoles. I loved the environmental destruction in BC and especially BC2. It made for some awesomely intense moments where you're in a building that's being shelled and the destroyed environments added to the atmosphere. I think Metro didn't seem to have as much because only the last set of objectives really had "buildings."

I want my Bad Company 3.

meh, this type of destruction isn't what made bad compay 2 so good. They said that the destruction in the beta was toned down, but this trailer doesn't show anything new.

one of the things that really shat me about Rage was the constant rumbles and the inability to turn off or lower said rumbling ... this fucker looks rumbley as all fuck - rental.
