Nah, there aren't enough xylophones and sick trumpets. And, more than anything, the part around 1:25 sounds like Star Wars music to me.

@sweep Yes, Kessler is a name used by normal people as well, not just weirdos who eat bananas and then proclaim its similarity to a paranormal encounter.

@johnnymcginley: You can, it may make for a better narrative as it shows a lot of the setup and basis for what happens in The New Order, but it doesn't really spoil anything - Nazis plan to take over the world using the occult and lots of creepy body experimentation to make it happen etc. etc. From what I have played of Old Blood so far, it seems to be pretty self-contained in that it has its own set of Nazi shitheads and alludes to others that show up in the first game.

More cheeky standalone DLC releases please!

I did like The New Order, but I don't know if I want even more of it. If only there were a group of guys that could quickly look at this product in order for me to make an informed purchasing decision.

Well, the Empire and their theme is clearly inspired by the Nazis.

New blood is a pretty good standalone dlc. The story is as good as the one in the main game.

More specifically from the theme of Triumph Des Willens. Still I kind of love that Star Wars was inspired by that and now, when Wolfenstein uses it people doesn't get the reference because they just instantly think 'oh yeah, the Imperial March!' Or, aparrently, Batman. Can't explain that one...

Downloading it now. The New Order was the best FPS in many years with some of the best characters in such a game. Can't wait to shoot, stab, and strangle more Nazis.

I think the moral here is that Danny Elfman is a Nazi.

God these games are so kick-ass! Pumped.

I probably won't get around to playing this for ages, but bought it now to support quality single player storyline games. The New Order is probably the best thing I played last year (really liked Mordor too, but I find myself tiring of repeated tasks in open world games pretty quickly).

I was on the fence about pre-ordering it on PS4 and then I thought that same thing. I'll do it just to support them for making it. It worked out for me though. Really good game and you can't beat that it was $17.99 if you pre-ordered.

Looks like it's finally time I got around to playing this.

I hear this is a good DLC worth playing, yet this trailer makes it seems like it's missing all the aspects that made The New Order worth playing and arguably one of the best games of last year... I'll give it a try though, hesitantly...

I've got such a backlog at the moment that I can't really find time for this, but I might have to because The New Order was my favourite game last year.

@assinass: I agree about New Order. I love that game. It was absolutely my favorite game of 2014 that I didn't play until 2015. It's such a weird thing to exist.

Finished the game earlier today and it was fantastic. I might even like it better than New Order; the pacing was tighter and it felt more... Wolfenstein-y. At one point flaming Nazi zombies literally started raining from the sky and all was good in the world.

I wish this game had more attention. We need more shooters like this.

Glad you're liking it so much. Personally, I like the game a lot but I don't think it's anywhere near as good as The New Order. The story and characters aren't as good and the pace is too relentless for me. I liked all the downtime and character interaction moments in TNO a lot - they helped balance out all the shooting for me. This one is just wall to wall shooting and sneaking with very little room for story and character. I like what story is there, its just so darn brief.

Despite my criticisms, it's a fantastic deal for $20 and well worth the money.

Ha, to be honest I didn't watch any trailers or read anything about the game before I played it, and now that I have beaten it why would I? But yeah, it's more "shooty" than TNO, but as much as I enjoyed the downtime in the base game after playing through it a couple times I found it dragged the pace down. I love the cover, shooting, and stealth mechanics and was glad to have a straight forward, old school experience that still manages to have good, memorable antagonists and companions. There's been a few times recently where I got the Wolfenstein itch, but I couldn't bring myself to replay TNO because I didn't want to sit through the slow parts. I see myself replaying TOB without hesitation anytime the mood strikes me.

Why has there not been a quick look yet!?
