Everybody loves monday.

Shoot up a nightclub? I'd love to!

Yeah, that cyberpunk game has really beautiful art but is way too short, I played it when it appeared at the cyberpunk jam. I hope the developers will do something more with that setting.

The Last Night sure looks great. Would be great if the guys that made it develop an actual game based on it.

The new schedule of Worth Playing is just one reason why I love Mondays!

"Y'know I appreciate a platformer th--- F*** IT WHY WOULD I DO THAT??!!"

Gold.

I also enjoy doing what cyberpunk games tell me to.

Thanks, Patrick. The Last Night did look beautiful. I'll have to check out the other game jam stuff.

Also, it looks like even in our cyberpunk future people complain about SC2 imbalance.

Went to Behind Nowhere to check out the next game after I saw the end of the video....

Targeting PC, Mac, PS4. Kickstarter campaign starting in 2015.

Wow, that looks great, but an actual release feels about 2+ years away!

Moooooondayyyy... and the rest of the week!

Holy shit, that Last Night game was seriously made in 6 days?

Glad worth playing has been pushed to Mondays, I kept losing it in the crazy fri shuffle.

I DID enjoy it as a part of my weekend. THANKS, Patrick.

EDIT: I've never enjoyed the tall/lanky pixel-people art style of that second game Patrick played, and I don't get why he was flipping out over the art in the game. That's not to say anything negative about the art, it clearly required a lot of work, etc, but I dunno, didn't seem THAT special to me.

Went to behindnowhere.com. Was blown away. Those dudes can make some incredible game art, that's for sure.

Its too bad that you follow the link to their actual game and it has nothing to do with the cyberpunk thing... maybe their next project will be it?

Hello everybody. I am Tim, one of the two brothers that developed The Last Night here.

Thank you all for your appreciation ! And thank you people at Giantbomb for this video ! It is very motivating for us. These last months, The Last Night has been such a tremendous success that we decided to make it a real game.

It will be available for PC / Mac / PS4. Vita not confirmed yet. Other platforms will come later.

Expect a real action / infiltration gameplay, dialogs, NPCs reacting to everything (you won't be able to shoot everywhere this time), a lot more details, bigger sprites, smoother animations, dozens of videos ads & neons to give life to the city, a real story, and an open world 2D dystopian city. Yes, 2D open world city. You will have to leave your apartment, meet (and avoid) some people & discover 4 very different districts using taxis, subways, aerial bus…

Of course, it means that Behind Nowhere, our bigger project that require more funding, more time, & more experience, is delayed, but trust us: As you may already know, Miyamoto said that a delayed game is eventually good, but a bad game is bad forever. We are confident we can create The Last Night in a year & a half, so we will have more fans, more funds, & more experience to make Behind Nowhere the dream game we want to make. Limbo took nearly 5 years, Fez 6 years, just so you have an idea. But we are working very fast, so it will not be nearly as long !

Thank you for your support, and see you next time, for the actual trailer ;)

Cant wait for the full release of the last night, already sold.

I like the move to monday. I will proceed to deal with it.

"That's fantastic! Bravo game!" taking leaps of faith usually aren't considered to be good, especially in plattformers, right?

Well, it wasn't really a leap of faith. Because the game works via momentum, if you followed the "flow" of the level you would've ended up at the exit of the level. I think that's what impressed Patrick.

Man, not 1 minute into the video, we get Patrick telling people to "deal with it" if they don't like Worth Reading/Playing on Mondays, and Patrick saying he's "Addicted" to this particular game.

Watching The Last Night just rubs salt into the wound caused by that recent Flashback remake. Ugh.

Posted by MankMachinery

" Fuck it, why would I do that?"

Posted by TNG

@timsoret: I just saw Worth Playing and damn your game looks fantastic, can't wait to see the final product! best of luck to you guys

Posted by PimblyCharles

I love just about anything Flashback inspired, and The Last Night seems to nail the look more than any attempt I've ever seen. I know what I'm playing tonight! Thanks Patrick for the heads up with this one.

Posted by ChrisTaran

@timsoret: That's awesome to hear it will be a full game! Super looking forward to it!
