    Sampled and synthesised human voice have been around in games since the late 70s, GORF is but one example of synthesised voice.  Wizard of Wor is another.
     
    For sampled speech you can go all the way back to Way of the Exploding Fist for the Commodore 64 which was released in 1985 and it's not even close to being the oldest game with sampled sound.
