I don't play anymore, but my roommate told me that the patch was no less than 5,5 gb? Like, holy shit. I hope they include these patches on the retail DVDs , because by now you have to patch the game for a full week before you can play it after purchase.

I downloaded the patch out of curiosity, but ultimately decided against re-activating my account...

Haven't gotten around to it yet ( haven't played wow in a week ) so I wouldn't know. But damn around 3-5 gigs for the patch 0_o crazy.

Yeah, I am having some issue with a Blizzard registry file, that's probably gone corrupt, shutting down my computer when I download anything from the blizzard downloader. It's doing the same thing here when I try to download the patch. Long story short, until I get around to fixing this issue, I'll be doing some catching up on some console games and XBLA games. SO I haven't seen what the patch has done yet.
