Denizens of Giant Bomb.
I have purchased a Microsoft Xbox 360 Controller for PC.
I want the entirety of this website to help me not regret this decision and key me in on the games that work well with it.
I don't want to know what games work with it, for that information is freely available. I want the esoteric knowledge that only blood, sweat, and tears that can bring.
Xbox 360 Controller Support for PC
Concept »
This is a list of PC games which support connecting an Xbox 360 controller to your computer and using it to play the game.
Games that Work Well
GRID, DIRT 2, Live For Speed, Batman: AA, GTA IV, other stuff.
I've not had a single bad experience using my 360 controller on the PC.
" Pretty much any "games for windows" game nowadays has native support. "Well, of course. But I'm looking for games that play better with a gamepad than with keyboard and mouse.

" super meat boy "Your opinion is respected but not appreciated.
I just purchased a 360 controller to my pc and played the walking dead episode1, which was awesome.
anyway, I bump this thing and hope people will give some more suggestions.
@VirtualAthlete: Well, name a PC game that isn't an RTS.
Though on this note, the Crysis gamepad controls suuuuuuuuuuck.
Saints Row 3. There are some points where you might want to go to mouse and keyboard (like when you're shooting stuff up), but it's one of the few games I can think of where the UI will change on the fly depending on what your control input is. Batman Arkham City is also on that short list.
Any 360 title that runs on PC controls like its 360 counter part. Just to name a few off the top of my head: Prince of Persia (2008), Alan Wake, Crysis, Batman, Saints Row, GTA, LA Noire, WItcher 2, these are all games that control just like their 360 counterparts when played with a controller.
I think The Darkness II plays better with a 360 pad due to the fact that you're essentially quad-wielding most of the time.
Plus if you got a pad you owe it to yourself to get some racing games, Blur would be my recommendation. NFS Hot Pursuit is good as well, especially if you have a powerful rig.
The only game (that wasn't an Indie or FIFA or a racer) where I felt compelled to use a gamepad rather than M+KB is Mirror's Edge, so, that.

I have no clue how I could play Saints Row 3 with a KB&M. And I like using KB&M!
Headshots all day long, that's how.
Headshots are great, don't get me wrong. But when you have an open world game like this, I have never been able to warm up to the good ol' KB&M.
