Well, Im in the middle of combat training or an online match of COD Black Ops and as soon as I shoot or get killed, it disconnects... Really, I just want to play a damn game in peace for once, any advice or explanation as to why this is happening? Thanks.
Sounds like a short, try turning vibration completely off and see if that changes anything. Do some basic troubleshooting - if it's a wireless controller, try a different rechargeable battery pack or put fresh batteries in if you're using AA's. If none of that works, it's time for a replacement. One of my older 360 wireless controllers recently died, I replaced it with a Razer Onza TE wired controller.
