Kinda cool.

It's stuff like this that makes me excited for new technology. The demo was excellent and really sold the system for me. Next gen consoles are going to change considerability over the course of their life, much like the 360 and ps3 did. There's no way to tell what this ecosystem will be in 2018, yet it seems to me that they have built a great foundation.

That actually looked really impressive. The way it recognized who was in the room and who was talking seemed pretty neat.

I'm having a hard time believing Microsoft has actually scaled back on the amount of advertisements on the home screen.

Also, talking at your TV will never not be dumb.

im getting a ps4 on launch, but plan on getting an x1 further down the line. this stuff actually looks kinda cool to me. excited to try it out sometime.

Pretty exciting, this kind of stuff made my decision. I didn't really care about just getting a specs upgrade.

I'll never be able to get over saying "Xbox- Do this". but the UI looks very snappy and I'm sure it will work fine with controller inputs.

I really like all the features. I don't know how much I'd use some of them but it'd be nice to have them all there. Having it operate as a full DVR I hope happens because its looking that way in ways and that'd be really smart and cool.

This looks pretty much as good as I could have hoped for. Especially the guide stuff. Being able to browse the TV guide, Netflix, Hulu, and whatever other movie services are available, all from one place is fantastic. That Kinect sign in stuff is great too.

It has SkyDrive support. I'M SOLD! I might be able to get Run The Jewels to work, maybe streaming?.

Very impressive. Hopefully it works that well for everyone.

Definitely didn't think I would talking to my xbox, but I'm not messing with menus or even picking up the controller if it truly works that well.

That Bobby Brown song was good. All they need to do is let us cutomize the home screen and put smaller tiles on the main page. So I can acess my downloads from there, I dont have to go to a second screen to look at my friends.

Pretty slick. I just wish I didn't need to sign that terms of service or have a camera follow me as I move around my living room.

Honestly I'm pretty unhappy with the UI/etc of my Comcast DVR. I'm not sure the XB1 will replace it completely so we'll have to see once I've atually used it, but if it removes the slowness/etc that I deal with on that Motorola box then that's great.

The lack of integrating the DVR function of the cable box makes the TV proponent of this console completely useless to most people. Who watches live TV anymore?

Right? If it really works this well then I'll be so glad to utilize Kinect to cycle through the dash.

This is probably one of the best vids they've put out. They had one recently where it was doing so much, so quickly, it just comes off being unrealistic. At least here, even if they do show you can do these tasks quickly, it's a bit more of a realistic scenario. That was also MS's least cringe worthy Skype call I've seen and the video was just a video and looked more like a webcam. I mean, it's still good quality but not to the level they show at E3 or other shows that are obviously faked using studio cameras.

The biggest disappointment is that they're still using fake Metro. By that I mean they've taken the design of Windows 8/Windows Phone but they haven't taken the concepts that make them work like "Live Tiles" unless this is something that's coming and just not represented in this demo but I feel like that should be something they'd show off. For example, the NFL tile he has could be more than just a static picture, it could be showing up to date results or the store could cycle through new content.

I bet I'll love getting a Skype call during an online match in Killer Instinct.

To me, next gen was about that kind of stuff. We knew Graphics were gonna good, but I didn't care that much about it. It was all about all the other experiences that it would bring to the table...or should I say the living room. This is why it was always obvious to me that Xbox One was my first choice. I haven't seen anything from the PS4 that screams next gen apart from Graphics, and still I think Ryse is more impressive visually than any PS4 games.

2 great systems in any case. Great times. About time :)
