    Yager was founded in 1999 by five gaming enthusiasts. In 13 years, they have released only two games: the flight sim (also called) Yager and the third-person shooter Spec Ops: The Line, which was published by 2K Games. The studio has more than 100 plus employees from all over the world.

    In 2021, Tencent purchased a majority stake in the company.
