I prefer the charm of the older Nancy Drew games but always down for some Clue Crew.

I would love to see them get to Carmen Sandiego. I feel like Abby would love it.

I enjoyed the free form discussion on this one way more. Good episode.

I do think the big fixation with keeping saves on SNES games is pretty funny. Even if you wanted to play the game again... wouldn't you want to play the game again? Save games for an in progress JRPG or something just seems so useless to me now.

I'm not a big emulation guy like they are but I get that more. Anyways, I do like hearing about their interest in it.

You guys all gave up writing reviews and that style of game coverage years ago, yet think its so interesting to talk about over and over?

I love you guys getting together but holy shit please talk about something besides irrelevant old games reviewing.

The Hotspot was not a podcast of naval gazing about games media/games reviews when it was a great podcast.

I don't mean to rain on the positivity a lot of people have for getting the Hotspot back together but what they've chosen to do with it is so up its own ass and the same discussions about game reviews that Jeff has had for years and years now, and at this point the site writes 1 review a year for the last like 3 or so.

Who cares. you guys don't write reviews or cover games like that and I, as a big consumer of games and games media, hardly have glanced at a review outside of RPS for years now.

Vinny holy shit please just look into good office chairs man lol. I don't get how these guys don't have any thought of that or knowledge given all their office work. Gaming chairs are not the answer here. i mean better than a terrible chair but just buy a real chair like an adult and save your back.

My Steelcase Gesture just came in to save my back as well and its been great. Look into something from Steelcase or Herman Miller.

I love ya Jeff but thinking Last Starfighter looks better than modern games is wilddd lol. Even saying its close is crazy. Looks like shit.

What framerate is that even at? Doesn't match the rest of the action whatever it is. can't believe he said that seriously... Hopefully its been a while since he's seen it.

I just bought a $900 Steelcase Gesture chair. I figured Vinny and the GB guys would know more about office chairs considering they work in offices. Can't give you a first hand review as an owner yet but when I sat in one it was great.

The most expensive gaming chairs are still under the cheapest of nice legit desk chairs. Herman Miller came up and I'm not sure they realize how much those cost.

It's a worthwhile investment though if you are going to use it. I'm at my desk a lot and it should last about 20 years.

Used is a fine way to go too. I looked at a used one in my area but it was about 15 years older model or so and 300. In some areas I'm sure you have better options (also not the time I want to go around to physical stores). The online options are also a bit shady.

I get the basement factor for Vinny but I think a nice mesh chair would be the right answer. I prefer the cushion for myself but those work too.

As far as balding, I get Abbys reaction and appreciated it. Part of it is one of those male things that can really wear on men in a similar way the expectation of beauty she brought up do for women so I appreciate Jeff's candidness as well.

Abby's advice is really important though and a lot of people could use to hear it when they stress about smaller matters of physical appearance so much. I can do that myself.

Great job Ben!

I hope you stick with it, the early going in these games is always the roughest part. And a guest would be nice. Otherwise really enjoyed this video though. Love seeing GB dig into complex and meaty games and hopefully do full playthroughs.
