@vinny Javik wasn't just DLC, he was part of their shitty Project 10 dollar initiative. So if you rented the game via Gamefly as I did, you didn't get him. Total shit.
Nice to see him finally on here though for the first time.
I've been playing this game alongside this playthrough, and when I got to the heel turn of the story, I made my dude wear nothing but a karate gi and jordan 1's, while just winning via submission. This game is incredible.
This one wasn’t great. I’m amazed people have such a hunger for them too despite the very budget-title look and feel.
No one makes big budget versions of stuff like this.
Production value wise it reminds me a lot of the budget adventure game market that was out there for a while. Stuff like the Dracula series. Also has educational game vibes, which also used to be a big genre that has all but disappeared.
Anyways I do wish they did big budget detective games.
For me, I would like if they played more Adventure games in general on GBeast. I'll take anything I can get. Wasn't a big fan of this one but some of the others have been fun to watch and I enjoy Abby's enthusiasm.
These accents in this game lol. just some of the things people have gotten mad about on this site but not this so much. and I'm not very sensitive but rough to listen to this shit.
I love you Vinny but sometimes your hosting is frusterating. You guys hate talking about any game week to week, even if you enjoy it and play it a lot, but listening to 20 minutes a week plus about what Jeffs kid wants to watch Jeff play is super entertaining I guess.
@jdp83: I'm with you man. It's totally different but it's the most I have had this feeling since Ryan. In a lot of ways Dan gave a life back to GB I never though would happen so that was amazing to see but I feel dour about the whole thing.
