The fifth game in the cartoony series of Gradius clones.
Run, jump and spin through levels as Sonic and Tails, in order to thwart the plans of the nefarious Dr. Robotnik and free the kidnapped animals! Released by Sega in 1992, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is often considered one of the greatest platformers of all time.
This side-scrolling shooter features background design from Syd Mead.
A vertical-scrolling shoot 'em up and Star Soldier spin-off that satirizes the series in much the same way that Konami's Parodius satirizes their Gradius series. Playable characters include a giant winged Bomberman and a sentient PC Engine.
Originally a TurboGrafx-16 game featuring control a witch on a broomstick through six levels of side-scrolling shmup action. Later ported to PC and Game Boy. It is one of the rarest and thus most valuable US TurboGrafx-16 releases.
The arcade sequel to the original MSX Parodius, Parodius Da builds on its Gradius-style gameplay and its unique comical charm.
A horizontal side-scrolling Arcade shoot 'em up originally developed and released to Japanese Arcades by Namco in 1988, followed by a TurboGrafx-16 conversion. It is known for its bizarre comedic elements, reminiscent of Konami's Parodius or Masaya's Cho Aniki.
