Something about the animation seemed a little raw, and the way he held the pistol seemed off, but like you said, early days and all, good to actually see someting - ANYTHING!

Did not expect this game to be first person. I didn't realise it was going to be. I'd always imagined it in third person.

Good that they have something to show though. I've been waiting for more about this since 2005.

Hopefully we will see more of this game as we approach E3 .

Yeah, while I'm of course glad to finally see gameplay of this game...any gameplay, as long as its been in fucking production, I find it a bit disappointing this is all there is that was being shown. On top of, its considered "very early". I still want to be excited about this game, and I still am to a point, but I'm getting kinda annoyed. Very highly.

I haven't heard anything about this game other then people just saying it's going to be good, and that eventually it's coming out. I don't really know what all the fuss is about.

Thought the thing was gonna be third person. If it's gonna be played from a first person perspective they're gonna have to do something about stuff like animations and camera movements. Make it feel like you are the dude, that he moves naturally, and not like some floating camera following a stiff arm around.

I would be surprised if this game makes it for a 2010 release.  Alan Wake is quickly turning into the Duke Nukem Forever of the survival horror genre.

Hahah, wow.  Who knew this game was going to be first person?  I'm all for it, though.  I prefer First Person perspective to Third Person.  Too bad that video didn't show much at all.  I just hope it doesn't turn out to be a shooter.  I hope they reveal some more information on this game soon.   Nonetheless, I'm super excited for this game.  I hope it kicks ass.  (and that they do something with the character animations... something felt  a little off)

So that wasn't Alan Wake? And I had hopes that is was an actual game and not just a fariy tale told to frighten small gamers on the dangers of constantly re-scrapping your game concept over and over again.
