I am so excited for Alan Wake and I cant fathom why! I just can not stop thinking about it; I need to talk to others in my position so i don't feel so weird!

Yeah, I really did know a lot about Alan Wake until a week ago, when I started watching trailers and doing some 'research'. It looks pretty cool; I'll definitely be checking it out when it comes out.

I would like to have red dead redemption, but I just feel even though that game will be epic in a small form I believe Alan Wake may be GOTY worthy yeah know?

I sort of dismissed it and assumed it'd be a flop before it was even released but after listening to the Joystiq podcast, I'm interested again. They had some good comments about it.

Garnet Lee and his crew on Weekend Confirmed (Shacknews podcast) seem very positive about it too. I myself have pretty high hopes. After seen that five minute trailer on my Xbox in HD I got really impressed by the visuals. It looks stunning. Let's hope the gameplay and story are as good.

More than any other game this month, I think! It's going to be awesome... :)

I was, but damn, that game was announced in 2005 and advertised as something "totally different" in video games. I really feel it's going to suck.

I anticipate it will be marred by people expecting it to be something impossibly grandiose due to it's 5 year development cycle. Me, I haven't anticipated the game at all, really. I know Remedy's making it, I know Remedy makes good quality games, I know they haven't yet churned something out this gen. So while I'm optimistic, I'm also skeptical. But i'm going fucking bananas for Red Dead Redemption.

Alan Wake looks Boss.

I just hope it will have some length to it, considering how short most single players are these days. Or if it is short, it should at least have great replay value like Max Payne 2.
