6.5/10 Agree or Disagree?
I'm very excited about the game so i personally disagree.

IGN review is up
Gamespot gave it a 7. I'm looking forward to it but I think I'll wait for it to drop to $39.99. Lot's of EA games have done so relatively quickly on sites like Amazon.
The first game didn't do very well critically either but I still loved it. Very much looking forward to checking it out for myself.
Nothing I see about this game makes it look very good. I own three copies of Alice in Wonderland, and a crazy gothic version sounds awesome in theory, but just because it has a great concept, it doesn't mean I can overlook how dated it is. Reminds me of a Harry Potter game from around six years ago.
I said I'm excited for the game that doesn't mean I have played it or anything. I have played the first game back when I was younger and enjoyed it so when this got announced,I was pumped for it.@solh0und: How can you disagree with a score to a game you haven't played?

You quite clearly state in your original post that you disagree with IGN's score. And you say you haven't played the game yourself, just that you're excited for it.
Doesn't explain on how you can disagree to a review to a game you haven't actually played yet. Disappointed? I can understand that. But disagree? That's another thing.

Yeah, but:

Surely you can see how it doesn't make sense to say that you disagree with a review when you have no experience with the game being reviewed? I can say Thor is the worst movie of the year and anyone who gave it a good review is stupid all I want, but it doesn't change the fact that I haven't seen Thor and therefore should not be talking about its quality in any way whatsoever.
Agree even if the game is mediocre time has shown IGN is paid off just like Gamespot,it's hard to get a real sense of the game unless there's a good demo every game needs one.IGN is staffed by monkeys.
No, no, no I think he's on to something! Imagine being able to give a game a score based on how much you're looking forward to playing it!
"I can't wait to play this - it's a 10!"
"Meh, I might want to play this - 6.5"
"I have no interest in this game - 2/10"
Think how much time they'd save at IGN if they could pump out reviews this way!
Gamespot gave it a 7/10... Man, I was sooooooo excited about this game. Guess, I will wait for a price drop... WTF with the flops/disappointments this year?Well, there's been a lot of high profile games released this year, they're not all going to be masterpieces. Some will be Portals and unfortunately others will be Dukes and Alices.
@Grimace: I agree. Shouldn't 7 mean the game functions and presents some decent mechanics. Sounds to me like the game works well enough to allow you to enjoy the atmosphere, enviroments, and story. Hell even a 6.5 I would take as the game just has a few major flaws and is maybe a bit repetative.
Anything below 8 means rental(consoles) or "wait for huge price drop" for us PC gamers. These games aren't worth full price. Not to mention that Alice looked for fucking promising. The game looked like a 8.5+. Kevin even said that the old game is superior to the new one.@Grimace: I agree. Shouldn't 7 mean the game functions and presents some decent mechanics. But most of the hate for them on this thread is about their ability as reviewers and journalists. I will agree that their website is a mess@UlquioKani: They aren't atrocious, but their website is. I can't stand navigating that place. I have trouble finding the byline and when I want to look for articles written by specific people I have no luck.

Review scores help people make a decision on a game. It's the reason that they exist (Apart from money). Jeff lost his former job making sure people didn't buy crap. Most reviewers are not fact they are there as guidance.@phrosnite said:
