I just caught this now as I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere, or even that well advertised on the store, but Alan Wake, all dlc and American Nightmare are on all sale right now (at least in NA). And, as the title says, you can get the full game for $5.

Any opinions on the DLC? Are either of them any good or should I not bother?

Both are critical for the story, they are cheap right now so might as well get the whole package.

How is it that I managed to buy this game for $5 and still feel ripped off.

After the HB, it just went on sale on Steam (plus all dlc and american nightmare) for $4.

Well, that sucks. Microsoft doesn't recognize my new PC. So I updated my info, and now I have to wait 30 DAYS for the change to go into effect. I would just download it with my 360, but it broke a couple weeks ago (This is my 3rd broken 360). Ugh.
