So I have been looking at various online sites about Elden Ring. I am having a fantastic time with the game but not one forum or website has ever mentioned the fact that the sheep tuck up into little balls and roll. I find this to be one of the most hilarious little details in a game in years and can’t believe it isn’t talked about more.

It's very cute and feels really whimsical for what Elden Ring is so I wonder who on the team was just like..... hey I got an idea.

Good job though, whoever that is.

According to the poll I put up, about 70% of people here are bloodthirsty, despicable criminals who kill every animal they see in Elden Ring, and I'd bet that number is higher outside of this website. I wonder if most of them even know the sheep roll. I mean, you'd have to be a pretty vicious monster if you could knowingly kill such a cute rollie friend.

Too bad they're made of bones.

@efesell: Finally. The open-world Sonic game I've always wanted.

I really appreciated not knowing they did that until I witnessed it myself. I had a pretty good surprised laugh.

my first death in the open world was from being stun locked by those rolling fuckers when i walked up to them thinking they were just deer and was immediately murdered by the Tree Sentinel roaming around. they deserve to be stripped for parts (bones)!

@brian_: I'm ready for the deep lore that says Sonic takes place in the same universe. Because Sonic canonically defeats Robotnik, he can no longer save all the animals by replacing their bones with metal parts, thus rendering them useless to tarnished wanderers. No one could stop Sonic because, each time they thought he was defeated, he only needed to pick up one of his rings to stay alive and keep fighting. Sonic was the true villain who brought about the present cataclysm and could only be defeated once the last (elden) ring was destroyed. By reforming the ring, you play a usurper to Sonic's throne.

It's all right there, it's so obvious.

I laughed out loud when I saw it the first time. And not for the last time. The world is fantastic, tragic and sometimes an absolute horror. But it makes the moments of levity all the sweeter.
