You need to dig a little to uncover the charm of Metro Exodus, but it's there 0

Metro Exodus demands a lot, and what it gives in return may not appeal to everyone. It is a deliberately paced game, with a decidedly languid feel requiring a level of patience that was at times difficult to muster. But once I finally got it I couldn’t stop playing. This game is rough in nearly every way, but I kinda loved it.Metro Exodus sees protagonist Artyom and his friends fleeing the Moscow underground where they’ve spent their entire lives and trudging east across the post-apo...

Fun fact; it was a Metro review back at the time of 2033’s release that snagged me my first boyfriend. I gave a reply; we got to talking then bam! A year later we are together. A week after that, bosh! We are apart again. Upsetting it sure was but in the end it was a question of logistics, personality was fortunately never a concern, but it does mean that 4A Games’ FPS series has an almost automatic emotional connection for me. 2033 was good, Last Light was better, and Exodus is, wel...

(At the time of this writing Ukraine lives under the threat of invasion while we broadcast to aliens and posterity that face coverings are the new blue jeans with the 2022 Winter Olympics..)Has anyone resisted Gamepass in total? Ubisoft? It’s a trap. Everybody wants to jump into the NFT gang but I feel like once yo...

Metro Exodus is the third game in the highly popular survival horror/stealth series. It is also set after the events of Metro Last Light. However, for us this was our very first experience playing a Metro game. We do own the Metro Redux version but sadly have not played much of it, for reasons that still elude us.Anyway we did know the consequences of the fact that Exodus is indeed set after these games, still we proceeded to play it regardless. In all honesty we do not have many regrets with our ...

You Can Take the Game out of the Metro, But... 0

While Exodus has been said to be the first open world game in the Metro series, that's not really the case. Of the game's five chapters, only two take place in 'open-ish' environments. These are the most prominent chapters, so about half of the game is open world(-ish) as opposed to 2/5ths.The open world maps are decently satisfying to explore despite being apocalyptic-ally barren. Exodus borrows a lot of the better idea from Far Cry 2 here. You are also limited to three weapons at a time when o...
