I was interested in this game at launch, but after reading a few reviews I decided to hold off. A lot of the reviews mention that the game asks the player to do too much at once with too much precision and punishes you for accidental gestures. I have heard that the patch removed the gesture count as part of the level completion requirements. Did it add/change/remove anything else in terms of game play that improves the experience (other than the new levels)? I guess what I'm asking is if the game is less frustrating and more fun now. I'm again thinking about picking this up.

I have no regrets getting my 3G/Wi-Fi model. Although I don't really have any plans to activate the 3G at the moment, it was worth it to me to get the included 8GB memory card and GPS receiver that the Wi-Fi only model does not have. What can I say, I like gadgets :) I knew that you were required to purchase a month of 3G service in order to get the free game before I even pre-ordered my Vita and that was not a big deal to me. I have downloaded a few PSN games and several demos and have not filled up my 8GB card yet. I don't have any music or videos on it though. I'm sure over the longer term, I will definitely need something bigger than 8GB, but it seems just fine for me at the moment.

I have a smart phone and I love it. The touch interface, processing power and graphics have taken mobile devices several steps beyond where they were (or at least what I had) previously. With that said, I can't stand playing any but the most simple games on my phone. I'll take a Vita or a 3DS any day of the week for games over my phone. In my opinion, the touch screen doesn't hold a candle to the traditional controls found on modern gaming handhelds. I hope this next generation of handhelds all succeed, but my money and my eye are both on the Vita, because it's just plain sexy!

Wow, just noticed that GB's review for this game is at the very bottom of the list for review scores on metacritic.com. And the next score up isn't even close.

Because of this article, I went out yesterday and purchased myself a shiny new black 3DS at the local Wal Mart. I was surprised to see the lowered price, considering that I live out in the sticks. I decided to not open the box and sleep on my new purchase. Well, today after looking over the game lineup (read: lack of games) and not being that impressed with the games they're giving away to Ambassadors, I promptly returned it, unopened. So I guess I can say that I owned a 3DS now, albeit for slightly less than 24 hours.

I'm sure that I'll eventually end up getting another one, but the lack of games is just a deal breaker for me at the moment. I hope Sony is paying attention to what's going on. I'm crossing my fingers for the Vita.

Depending on the launch title lineup, this still may be a must buy for me. With all that Sony has crammed into this baby, the price seems worth it to me. I had my eye on the 3DS, but I'm just not interested anymore, even after the price decrease, due to the lack of games. Maybe they're trying to avoid the less than stellar launch the 3DS had and launch with some actual quality games. If so, I have no problem with the push.

Well it's not the best name in the world, but it's better than Kinect, which is the latest why-the-hell-did-they-name-it-that device that has crossed my path. Considering that I own just about all the current consoles and handhelds and that the specs on this new handheld totally kick ass, Sony will most likely have my money regardless of what they call it!

Good to see this announcement. I really wish they would release a console version though.
