This was a close one but I have to give Uncharted 2 the slight edge over Modern Warfare 2. Although Modern Warfare 2 was a fantastic game, I was constantly amazed by Uncharted 2 the first time I played it.

Infinity ward are without a doubt very close to perfecting the feel of an FPS an their single player was extremely entertaining. Some say over the top an a little crazy but I say this is the video game industry, we never questioned the Italian plumber or the blue hedgehog saving the world.

This one was always going to be up the top end of the list just because I'm such a big fan of Batman anyway but so great to see someone to make a good game from this franchise at last.

Still playing this one now and on my second playthrough, kind of feel that people may have noticed this abit more if it had been released another year though.

This one was a bit of a shock for me (get it) I was not expecting such an awesome game but Sucker Punch really delivered on this title.

Took so long to come out but did not disappoint, I enjoyed it although the aiming was a little weird and to be honest I don't exactly enjoy FPS's on a PS3 anyway but still a great game.

This is the worst game ever when playing with random people online, but when I did manage to get my friends online at the same time it was one of the best multiplayer experiences I've had in a while.

Not as crazy about this game as everyone else but I still really enjoyed going through this game as ubisoft managed to fix a lot of issues. Graphics were kind of average for a game as big as this but game play was still a lot of fun.

Being the major football fan that I am, and being that EA seems to have really stepped up with this franchise, it was an obvious choice as I am playing it right now as i write this list and I will be playing it all the way till FIFA 2011 as I have with previous games.

Possibly my top franchise, I know the game is not perfect but the first Halo was the game that made me get into games on a much more serious level as I was only buying GTA's and FIFA's before this game. But ODST although it failed to amazed me i still enjoyed the little side story Bungie came up with and firefight was a great addition.
