I just finished Rob Delany's book. Very enjoyable and incredibly funny. Now I'm on to Dad is Fat by Jim Gaffigan. I love non-fiction and have been on a comedian kick as of late.
@kishinfoulux: Patrick has stated that the way the story wraps up DQs it for him, and I believe someone else (Ryan/Brad maybe) said the same. So I doubt it. Especially since Patrick seems to value story more than almost anything else in games.
I believe it was Brad and I think that's absolutely stupid. If you're playing Far Cry 3 for the story, you're doing it wrong.
The story may not matter to you, but it certainly does to Brad and many other people. Different people put more emphasis on the different aspects of the games they play. If they feel that the story was the weakest part of the game, then they (probably) won't vote it as Game of the Year.
My guess is that the top 3 will be Far Cry 3, XCOM, and Walking Dead, with Journey as a distant #4. The Walking Dead will win.
Yeah this has been happening to me all night. I've played 7 games and I should have been 7-0, but I'm 2-5. The losses were all because I got a big league and the other guy disconnected. This is a deal-breaker for me. I'm not going to play online again until they fix this. I would be happy with a neutral result, but to count it as a loss and a negative streak is not cool.
@mfpantst: Yeah that would be a lot of fun. We should try to start a league. I wouldn't say that I am a scrub, but I'm not that great either. My gamertag is OrneryBread17 if you want to play (this goes for anyone else as well), just let me know that you're from Giantbomb!
