Too bad about the Sonic Origins DLC debacle making a mess of that because it obscures the fact that those versions are going to be based on the Christian Whitehead/Headcannon remasterings so they should be quality if not the definitive versions of those games.
What happened to Toys for Bob and a lot of Activision studios, has given me more appreciation for the things Bungie has done to control their own fate. I mean it's crazy that they were just able to leave Microsoft despite being owned by them and then later to be able leave their Activision deal with the Destiny IP. If I ever had to do some huge deal, I would want the negotiators who work for Bungie.
This reminds me of how Kingdom Hearts 2, God of War, Resident Evil 4 and several other games came out within a year or so of each other and how all of those games were really into the idea that quick time events were a big thing.
