    Overview

    Shadow Warrior 2 is a first-person shooter developed by Flying Wild Hog and published digitally by Devolver Digital for the PC (via Steam and GOG.com) on October 13, 2016. It was later released digitally for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on May 19, 2017.

    The sequel to Flying Wild Hog's re-imagining of the 1997 game Shadow Warrior, players reprise the role of mercenary swordsman Lo Wang five years after breaking the alliance between Zilla Enterprise and the ancient gods of the shadow realm. Set in a corrupted world invaded by demons, Wang must fight a demonic army that is under command of Zilla.

    Along with a new arsenal of upgradable weapons (including a variety of different types of melee weapons) and techniques (including wall-climbing and double jumping), Shadow Warrior 2 features an open-ended map structure (with revisitable levels, side-missions, and a hub area), procedurally-generated level layouts, a procedural damage system, and online co-operative multiplayer for up to four players (where each player experiences the narrative as Lo Wang and sees all other players as customizable anonymous ninjas).
