Steep

The basic premise of Steep sounds amazing with Mountain snowboarding, parachuting, wing suit runs, and skiing. The Game itself is beautiful and has some of the best environment rendering this generation the days are beautiful and the changes in terrain in the various mountains is so refreshing. The small villages and random log cabins mix up the landscape in a very welcomed way. In steep the sports are varied and extremely fun. Not knowing really anything about wing suiting and para gliding the game does a great job at explaining what the mechanics are and how to master them. Within a run or two you should have the basic skills down and be on your way to mastering them. The skill increasing mechanic is really fun as the runs you need to make feel as though they scale really well to your skill level as you've been running these tricks and events. In my opinion the sports I gravitated towards were the wing suit, and snowboarding. I really only found myself para gliding and skiing when I absolutely had to and not for any reason other then I just didn't enjoy them as much as the other two. I feel as though this game was really well rounded minus 2 key features. It has a confusing and what seems not needed on line function, you can party with other people but there really isn't a reason to. It doesn't add any functionality or competition to the game and feels like an afterthought, and its an afterthought that can really affect the performance of this game which really is a strike against it. The character customization while fun feels as thought it really could be expanded upon with new and exciting gear. If I had to recommend a sports game for someone to try this would be the one with multiple sports and mechanics for each I really enjoyed steep its robust play modes really make for an exciting game and worth the time.
