nah the AA it got from Gamespot and IGN was right. as much as i love the game and im currently beating it on PotMN right now its just unbalanced and not as good as the first.
I'm super glad to see so many people saying Lost Odyssey. It's crazy to see how it got such 'meh' reviews, then see so many fans love it. Crazy in a good way of course!
I also personally thought Viking: Battle for Asgard was underrated. But that is possibly more suited to a "games everyone hates but you" thread! :D
i just wanted to say Army of Two. That game right there was innovative and even though there wasn't a lot of varied gameplay it had a lot of replay value and always felt different each time.
I would say that any Viva Pinata that comes out is underrated. I mean the game had me and my friends hooked for weeks. I honestly don't see why Microsoft doesn't push that series a little harder.
Condemned 2 also makes my list of underrated games this year.
Underrated so far: DMC4, I loved that game. Probably by the end of the year: Gears 2. I think Gears 1 was underrated even though it got such high marks. Yes, that's how much I love it ;)
Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts.... most people are put off that they're drastically changing the game from the original two Viva Pinata is a good choice too
Bourne Conspiracy -- nobody bought it, and it wasn't that long of a game but it was very reminiscent of the movie which I loved. I only gave it a 3/5 stars on my written review but it was definitely something different that not many people tried.
Talking 360 wise, the most underrated game in my opinion is Battlefield Bad Company, for me, it seemed like there wasn't much hype put into the game and basically people compared it to COD 4.

Yes I agree. Its a shame. Because most players wont play it because they will get made fun of too much..including me.

I'll have to agree with you there DazbotAthertron, Turok was shameful, I played the N64 version and was impressed but they ruined it in the next release of the game. Alone in the dark I have played and I was not impressed at all. Even though the fire mechanics in the game were pretty good, the rest of the game left alot to be desired. Also the fact that Uwe Boll wrecked the image of that game forever, but thats another thread now isn't it!.
for 2008, idk. I haven't really picked up an games this year that were underrated. I think Forza 2 was underrated, lots of people disliked that game. Especially some of my friends.
For games that haven't come out yet? Well I would say Banjo, but other then that there is no such thing, MS hypes up all the exclusive 360 games pretty heavily so I wouldn't think any will be underrated.
