Bright Lights And Bombs: The Fallout: New Vegas E3 Trailer

Did I mention creepy old music?

"Jingle Jangle Jingle" isn't as memorable as "I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire," but the effect of mixing oldies tunes with footage of Fallout's scorched, post-apocalyptic Earth remains just as haunting.

I'm referring to Fallout: New Vegas' E3 2010 trailer that debuted this weekend. It features, foremost, several snippets of action, the focus of which is on the game's explosive weapons and subsequently its physics engine. You'll see several baddies get blown into the air, limp after impact, and a fair amount of fireballs considering the runtime.

I actually tried to sell a buddy on Fallout 3, New Vegas' Bethesda-developed predecessor, earlier this afternoon. He said it was too dark for him. His loss I suppose, but I wonder if this game, with its much more peppy locations and weapons, will draw him in. I suppose we'll see later this year.
