Here's When and Where to Watch All the Live E3 Press Conferences

I've already ordered a pair of pizzas to be delivered tomorrow during the first conference. Coke is on ice. Ready to roll.

i will be mainly looking at the Nintendo conference.

Now to avoid looking at any gaming news sites for the next couple days, 'til I have a chance to watch the press conferences first. Don't wana be spoilered!

@TwoOneFive: I have to disagree with that. 6:30 is fine if you're in the US.. but for most of the rest of the world, it's the middle of the night. They're by far going to have the least viewed keynote. Which is disappointing, because I was looking forward to theirs.

I normally hate crass commercialism, mindless consumerism, extravagant advertisements, and bullshit corporate stuff. But mother fucker, I love me some god damn E3. Even if it ends up with a lot of "that was it? that whole week and all I got was a bunch of stupid Kinnect?!". It's just that until that final moment, it's so filled with insanity and possibility and excitement. ANYTHING can fucking happen! Valve could show up, afterall, and be like "yo, bitches, I heard you liked some Half Life 3 in your E3!" or something. Microsoft could give a peak of the next console. Over the hill executives could make total asses of themselves on stage. There are literally 775,000,000 possible combinations of crazy shit that could go down!

Seriously, I'm normally reserved and not easily excited about things. I criticize too much, enjoy too little, and am jaded and cynical about everything. Except those few days during E3 when I can't even fucking sit still and am giddy like I used to be on Christmas morning as a little kid.

I might even cope with no Paul Barnett, this year.

Well I'm up and ready to watch some good E3.

The MS conference seems to be starting at 9:30 PDT, so where Alex got 9:00 PST I don't know. But man, I hate time zone shit.

I've seen both mentioned by different websites.. But the Xbox website does say 5:30 (for the UK) so I'll assume that's the correct one.

@runin: I can confirm this I saw it too it showed like a CG picture of the Chief talking to Cortana. So yeah we are going to see a really cool trailer. Also Kinect Labs!!!! Scan your balls guys!

Will the Giantbomb streams from E3 be archived on the site? Something is up with Justin.TV for me, no matter what I do, traceroutes look fine, I'm stuck at 40-60 kilobytes of downstream from them compared to before when it was 4-6 megabytes a second. If I want to watch like that pre-E3 archived Stream I have to keep the computer on over-night because it's even slower when trying to load something on a web site applet.

I agree with Jeff. We need that internet time because PST/PDT/ADD doesn't mean shit to me. When you live in a small country time zones are never an issue.

Like I said in another MS E3 thread, "Hope you like Kinect".

The mass effect 3 voice command stuff actually looks really cool, since it allows you to command all the abilities of your teammates without pausing the game. Kinect is barely even needed for that though.

That part was alright, their first example of kinect usage seemed like an after thought. I personally wouldn't want to speak the dialog options, that takes way longer than just selecting them with the controller.

Honestly, nobody has used Internet Time and after something like twelve or fifteen years, it's still easier for me to just convert time zones than it is to go google for an internet swatch beat clock somewhere.

I put away four slices of pizza, half a 2litre of coke, and went up stairs to take a dump that would clear out E3.

My body is ready for ME3/BF3... Let's do this!

So far I'd say MS had no surprises and the highlights were Ice T and Tim Schafer,

EA was mostly cool and to the point though I had no personal interest in the sports series.

Now here's hoping Ubisoft will blow me away in some way or another in 41 minutes and.. 13 seconds.

If you're on demonoid, the streams have all been grabbed and torrented from the big 5 pressers, by user libertador (just torrent search on "E3 2011" and they'll show up at the top of the list. All but the Sony one are in 720p, as mp4 files (the Sony one is only 540p, but still totally watchable). They were grabbed from gamespot.com.

I also got a message back from GeneralTso294on demonoid, who will have them all packaged up as a single torrent (and maybe also, fingers crossed, have a 720p feed from Sony, plus the Konami one), and available soon:

"I am going to begin the upload today, when I get out of work at around 4PM ET"

So there are already torrents, and there will be more soon.
