The game had to be redone as someone already mentioned. Why would they want to publish a shit game when they can live off of Mr. Softy's teet?
I seem to be the opposite of most people, had no interest back when this was first announced, but I've recently gotten a lot more interested. It's looking very nice, and I may just have to go for that collectors edition :)

It was scrapped. Many have assumed it'll turn up sooner or later, but Microsoft haven't exactly been very friendly with porting their games to the PC these days. I'd say it depends how far along they were with it, if it's mostly complete I'd imagine they'd just finish it up and release it. But the game was restarted several times, I wouldn't hold your breath for it.
A) Getting a Darkness Falls vibe. And I didn't like that movie.
B) Alan Wake can dish out car crashes, and apparently he can totally take them, too. As shown by his being hit by a flying car, and it just brushes off of him.
Lol at 0:53 he takes a train cart to the face and he is hardly fazed by it. Kind of detrimental to the whole "average Joe caught up in a nightmare vibe" they've got going on when the protagonist is as strong as a terminator.

The only thing working against this title, I think is that it's Microsoft's big $ cow for the year, which might make them too cautious with pushing the envelope in regards to story or gameplay, hope it's not too "Hollywood". But in saying that I could be totally wrong...

This. Why does everything have to be so damn coy? I get the benefits of putting out a mysterious, well cut trailer but if I'm going to throw $60 at a game I at least need some concrete idea of what I'll be getting into. Game is too far along in development at this point to know so little about how it works.
Look good. So basically once you get past all their weird marketing hype this is Max Payne meets Indigo Prophecy. And instead of bullet time the big gimmick will be light manipulation. Cool. Max Payne was awesome. I'm ready for whatever Remedy wants to throw our way.
